Job Mission

The mission of the Life Coach Night Shift role is to support various teams on campus in following the student schedule and to model safe and trusting relationships. This role will ensure student safety by maintaining firm boundaries and expectations as well as offering constant supervision. The position requires the ability to think fast on your feet during all activities with the students. Hourly pay rate is $19.50/hour to $20.50/hour with shift differential. Mastery Program for training that leads to pay increases upon reaching milestones. Shift needed: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (10 pm - 8 am) and every other Saturday (8 am - 8 pm).

Responsibilities:

Completes bed checks every fifteen minutes.

Ensures that each student is safe and in assigned bed.

Assists students who are ill or who are otherwise having difficulty.

Remains alert and awake at all times.

Completes household chores as assigned.

Be timely and present for scheduled shifts.

Ensure implementation of Embark Programs culture, norms, systems, and processes.

Maintain safe boundaries and relationships with students and fellow staff.

Facilitate nighttime and morning routines.

No alcohol, drugs, tobacco, or vaping on premises.

Qualifications:
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of student rules, and level requirements.

Knowledge of proper charting procedure.

Skill in problem solving.

Skill in de-escalating agitated students.

Ability to perform CPR.

Ability to safely hold or restrain an upset or combative student.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum High School Diploma or GED.

Able to pass federal background check and drug screen.

Minimum of 21 years of age.

Valid drivers license in good standing.
