Experience in industrial construction

Refractory work experience is a plus

Knowledge of OSHA/MSHA safety requirements

Focus on safe work practices, strong work ethic, good attitude

About the job
As a Refractory Laborer you will be responsible for tearing out and installing refractory/brick in industrial plants across the country. Your tasks will include:

Demolition of refractory materials

Supporting masons with the installation of brick and refractory materials

Welding, cutting, grinding, forming, and pouring

Installation of refractory products using various applications including, gunning and shotcrete applications

Operate equipment and machinery including but not limited to forklifts, man lifts, and scissor lifts.

Requirements

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand and/or be on their feet 10-12 hours per day

Must be able to lift 50lb as needed

Must be able to go up and down on ladders, steps, or other lifts as needed

Must be able to perform various tasks in confined spaces and elevations.

Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing as well as pre-employment physical and background check.

Ability to work a flexible work schedule, long hours and travel as required
