As a Director of Therapeutic Recreation / Activities, you will be the driving force behind the vibrant and engaging activities in our community. Your work will be instrumental in creating a lively and fulfilling daily life for our residents.
Key Responsibilities for a Director of Therapeutic Recreation / Activities:
Develop and implement a diverse range of activities and programs catering to the interests and abilities of residents
Provide opportunities for entertainment, exercise, relaxation, and expression while fulfilling basic psychological, social, and spiritual needs
Provides assistance to the physically, emotionally, and cognitively impaired individual and family to explore appropriate hobbies and leisure activities

USD $22.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.

Qualifications of a Director of Therapeutic Recreation / Activities:
Degree and certification as a therapeutic recreation specialist, Certified Occupational Therapist, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant or completion of a training course approved by the Department of Education
Proven experience in planning and implementing activities for seniors in a long-term care setting
Creative mindset with excellent organizational interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate with team members, residents, and families to create a positive and inclusive environment
