Position Summary

 

Labels and puts away materials received from other departments. Works with other departments to ensure delivery of materials safely and on time.

Responsibilities:
Label and counts materials received from other departments and puts away in the correct area safely and on time.

Prepares accurate orders for outbound shipments.

Consolidate inventory.

Conducts weekly inventory – down stocking, refreshing labels as needed.

Uses a scanner to verify and track orders.

May be required to use material handling equipment, following all safety rules.

Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.

Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.

 

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience operating forklift equipment a plus

Experience with inventory/shipping a plus

Good computer skills

Good verbal communication skills

Ability to read and write English and use basic math

Good organization skills

Good time management skills

Self-motivated and detail-oriented
