Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Civil Engineering and Environmental Services firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Geologist in Sacramento, CA.

Responsibilities:

Provide mentorship, training, and review of planning documents, field activities, data generation, and reports for existing investigation, monitoring, and remediation work.

Prepare and review planning documents, field documentation, analytical data, and reports for content, applicability, and accuracy.

coordinate with project team members and subcontractors (e.g., laboratories and data validation firms) to implement project quality control and meet project requirements.

Identify and document nonconformances.

Work with team members to develop corrective actions and verify that corrective actions resolve the issues and/or prevent reoccurrences

Requirements

B.S. degree in geology, environmental science, chemistry or related scientific field.

4 – 8 years of related experience.

Strong technical writing skills are required.

Experience with assessment of analytical data and preparation of technical reports.

Multimedia field sampling experience including soil, sediment, surface water, groundwater, and air.

Willingness to work cooperatively and mentor junior staff.

Ability to develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting
