Mechanic – Ravena

 

Package Pavement Company, Inc., a manufacturer and licensee of QUIKRETE® products in Ravena, NY is seeking an experienced mechanic to join our team.

 

We offer a competitive hourly wage and benefit package. 

 

Starting salary range is $24-$26.50 per hour.

 

 

Responsibilities:
 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Repair and maintain mechanical parts in our production plant and facilities, including;Conveyors, elevators, dryers, mixing tanks, screens, etc.

Repair and maintain site vehicles, such as;Forklifts, sweepers, tractor trailers, etc.

Inspect and troubleshoot machinery and equipment to determine cause of malfunction or extent of wear or damage

Repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electronic components of electrical equipment using standard tools and gauges

Follow all OSHA safety regulations

Follow all company safety policies and procedures when performing repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent

Vocational training a plus

Two to five years’ experience working in industrial maintenance, including;pneumatics

hydraulics

trucks and other moving machinery

Must have own tools
