Summer Camp Advisory Team is the provider of IDEAS Summer Day Camps hosted at St. Anne's Schools in Annapolis, MD. Our mission is to enrich the lives of children by simultaneously fostering fun and building character. Leadership, teamwork, preparation, initiative, and effort are life skills echoed repeatedly throughout our curriculum. We hire experienced and extraordinary teachers, coaches, and students of education, who are dedicated to cultivating these skills.

Position Overview:
IDEAS Camp Rescue Ranger

This position serves as the behind-the-scenes support for everything camp.  Rescue Rangers will assist in a wide range of “missions” and daily tasks to make each camp day the best it can be

 

IDEAS Camp Rescue Rangers will benefit from the following amenities:

NO WEEKENDS Full-time (40 hrs/week) Monday - Friday schedules

FLEXIBLE SCHEDULERequiring as few as three contracted weeks, we will work with your busy summer schedule (i.e. vacations can be accommodated)

Job Description: A Rancho Camp Ranger serves as the behind-the-scenes support for everything camp.

Reports directly to the Site Leader for direction.

Sample daily tasks include: lunch set-up & clean-up; set-up for all-camp activities; Ozzie assistance; snack assistance for day camp.

Anticipated Work Hours Per Week:

30 - 35

 

Must be able to attend required training:

In-person PAID training on Saturday, July 6 & Sunday, July 7 from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Qualifications:
Required education:

High School Degree

Completion of or pursuing a degree in education-related field preferred

Required experience:

1 year teaching or working with children preferred
