Position Summary

 

The Order Picker fills work orders by accurately identifying and pulling materials and delivering them to the requested destination.

Responsibilities:
 

Picks parts of various size, shape, and weight according to work orders

Places parts carefully in kits to avoid damage.

Delivers part orders to the requested work site.

Meets expectations for number and accuracy of work orders picked.

May be required to use material handling equipment, following all safety rules.

Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Reads and maintains information in the inventory system, ensuring accurate records.

Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.

Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.

 

Qualifications:
 

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience operating forklift equipment a plus

Experience with inventory a plus

Good computer skills

Good verbal communication skills

Ability to read and write English and use basic math

Good organization skills

Good time management skills

Self-motivated and detail-oriented

Team orientation
