Responsibilities:
The Wireline Operator acts as a support role to the plugging and abandonment program in PA, WV, & OH.  The position is located out of Bridgeport, WV and will support operations throughout PA, WV, & OH.

Special focus will be placed on:

Support plugging activities with a focus on running wireline units utilizing the warrior wireline system.

Transport wireline explosives and tools from site to site via pickup and wireline trucks.

Conduct and track frequent inspections of wireline trucks and equipment, identify issues regarding safe and efficient operations, and make timely recommendations to rectify any noted problems. Perform minor mechanical repairs on equipment and keep maintenance records updated. Clean and maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.

Prioritize safety at all times. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety on and off the job site.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and equipment. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all near misses, workplace injuries, accidents, or illness, regardless of the severity of the injury or accident.

Ensure familiarity with local, state, and wireline regulations applicable to wireline explosives operations. Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations governing the transportation of hazardous materials and equipment.

Follow environmental guidelines and best practices to minimize the impact of operations on the environment.

Monitor, evaluate, and adjust processes or equipment to maximize quality and efficiency.

Maintain open communication to coordinate transportation needs and schedules.

Collaborate with rig employees and other personnel to ensure efficient and smooth project operations. Regularly communicate with manager and other relevant personnel to provide wireline and job site updates, issues, and delays.

Complete necessary paperwork such as trip logs, inspections reports, and delivery receipts accurately and promptly.

Complete and submit a daily operations report detailing and approving operational activity that occurred on site.

Check emails daily and comply with email requests as they are assigned.

Perform any other duties as requested or assigned, including occasionally assisting with non-plugging or special projects per direction of management.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver’s license.

Class B CDL at a minimum with HAZMAT.

Prefer 4+ years of experience running wireline units in the oil and gas industry with experience running logs, cutting pipe, and explosives handling.

Knowledge of local and state commercial guidelines.

Knowledge of and commitment to safety procedures and regulations.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Willingness to work in various weather and well site conditions.

Willingness to travel to remote well sites.

Basic math skills.

Basic computer skills/proficiency.

 Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

The individual must be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required. This includes hard hat, safety glasses, life vest, respirators, earplugs, steel-toed shoes, or other protective equipment as required by the work performed and location the work is being done.

Walking, stepping, climbing, or otherwise moving from one location on the job site to another.

Visually seeing driving operations well (either naturally or with corrective lenses).

Standing, stooping, kneeling, squatting, climbing and sitting.

Repetitive movements by feet, shoulders, arms wrists, hands and back in performance of work.

Lifting 50lb objects or more occasionally.

Adapting to outdoor conditions and prolonged exposure to sometimes adverse weather conditions.

Remaining calm during emergencies and respond appropriately as dictated by the circumstance of the incident.
