Short Job Description

The ideal Line Boring, Welder, & Fabricator is responsible for repairing and maintaining our fleet of earthmoving and pipeline equipment

Responsibilities

Utilize all equipment needed for line bore operations, including set up, measurements, welding up and cutting of bores to spec.

Must be proficient in use of all Welding, Cutting, Lancing and grinding tools

Have some mechanical skills and be able to operate press gear for disassembly & assembly as needed

Understand metal properties and what types to use for a variety of applications

Must be able to multitask projects

Must have proficiency in the following: reading prints and specs, the use of measuring tools, the math skills required for setting up and performing line boring operations

Requirements

Valid driver’s license

Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment is preferred
