We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated cybersecurity analyst to join our team. The cybersecurity specialist will be responsible for implementing, managing, and enhancing our organization's cybersecurity posture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, hands-on experience with security technologies, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating cyber threats.

Responsibilities:
 Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our organization's data and systems.

 Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify security gaps and prioritize remediation efforts.

 Monitor security alerts and events from various sources, including security tools, network devices, and log files, to detect and investigate potential security incidents.

 Respond and Investigate security incidents, breaches, and unauthorized access attempts, and develop response strategies to mitigate the impact.

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security controls, configurations, and policies to mitigate identified risks and vulnerabilities.

 Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices, and recommend proactive measures to strengthen our security posture.

 Provide cybersecurity awareness training and guidance to employees to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance.

 Support third party vendor risk security audits, assessments, and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to contractual requirements and industry standards.

 Serve as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity matters, providing guidance and support to cross-functional teams as needed

 Other duties as required relating to cybersecurity and risk management

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.

Proven experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related field, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.

Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Strong understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and common security technologies and protocols.

Strong understanding of networking protocols, systems architecture, and cloud computing environments.

Familiarity with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, antivirus, EDR, and vulnerability scanners.

Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR.

Experience with security incident response and forensic analysis techniques.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of cybersecurity.
