Overview:
Element has an opportunity for Associate Test Technician to join our Columbia, MD team. This position applies engineering problem solving skills to evaluate wireless devices for federal regulations, involving Electromagnetic Compatibility(EMC), Specific Absorption Rate (SAR), Peripheral Nerve Stimulation (PNS) and/or Hearing-Aid Compatibility evaluations for wireless consumer technologies in a fast-paced environment and industry. All training is provided. 

 

Responsibilities:
Testing and troubleshooting Electrical and RF Safety requirements on wireless devices using near-field RF probes, liquid dielectric bio-material solutions and RF dipole antennas 

Assisting in data measurement and entry into MS Word, MS Excel and Adobe Acrobat 

Collaborating daily with managers and test engineers 

Coordinating and managing multiple tasks with tight deadlines 

Skills / Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelor's Degree Preferred 

Organized, fast learner, team player, detail oriented, comfortable with troubleshooting 

Undergraduate GPA 3.0 or higher 

Typical Hours: 40 - 50 hours per week 

Must be willing to work rotational weekends
