As a Nursing and Clinical Educator, you will be responsible for providing education, training, and consultancy services to clinical staff in your assigned areas. You will assess, develop, revise, and coordinate teaching programs for all nursing staff and ensure that educational programs meet all regulatory, risk, and patient safety requirements.

In addition, you will plan and direct orientation and residency programs, facilitate staff development, and develop competency assessment tools to ensure that our staff is equipped with the necessary skills and competency. You will also contribute to our quality improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to support these initiatives and incorporating changes into education offerings.

As a Nursing and Clinical Educator, you will collaborate with other educators to enhance self-learning, promote professionalism, reduce duplicative services, and provide opportunities for a more standardized system. You will also participate in related clinical instruction and conferences to maintain and improve your knowledge and competency in your specialty area.

If you are a highly motivated, skilled professional with a passion for education and a commitment to quality patient care, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Qualifications:

Licensure/Certification

Current active Washington State RN license.

Certification in specialty area to be obtained within one year of hire.

·         Current Health Care Provider BLS required, unless assigned to work with Surgery Schedulers and Surginet.
