Job Description

General Summary:

The Computer Graphics (CG) Producer manages the overall project workflow on moderately complex, integrated projects. Partnering closely with expert resources across Strategy, Creative, Account, Project Management (PM), Media, Art Studio, Multimedia, Technology and Ad Ops teams, the Producer advocates for efficient, high-quality execution of the discovery, design and delivery of the work. Responsibilities include managing project scope, schedules, financial information, project deliverables, internal and external stakeholders (including project-related client communications), providing solutions to technical problems, sharing new and evolving options for deliverables, and finding suitable production partners. The Producer must understand and articulate the limitations and possibilities of the medium, and be open to exploring the unknown.

Day to Day:

Production Leadership

Manage internal project-related communications; Communicate project and deliverable status, issues, risks, decisions, dependencies. Lead status meetings. Create process documentation as needed.

Risk management; anticipate issues and provide options to resolve. Devise contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies.

Develop and nurture vendor relationships; vendor management and contracts (as needed).

For multi-channel/integrated campaigns, collaborate with other Producers/Account teams (as needed).

Partners closely with Creative teams to transform creative ideas into tangible deliverables.

Combines production and technical knowledge with a deep understanding of the media landscape and 3rd party suppliers to enhance and inspire the core idea.

Supervise, mentor and coach more junior members of the team. Oversee resources (Associate Producers) who may be assigned to support with Project Delivery responsibilities noted below (varies by project).

Nurtures and develops relationships with vendors and companies to allow Team One to excel in the industry.

Provides coaching to more junior members of the team.

Product Delivery

Define project scope and budget; draft SOW documents as needed. Maintain accountability to the project's realistic scope, timing and budget as project requirements evolve.

Project administration/tool set-up, resource gathering, and lead kickoff meetings.

Partners with PM to prepare project schedule; communicate deliverable timing to stakeholders and hold them accountable.

Financial oversight and reporting, including estimate creation (labor and material costs), accrual reports, billable labor hour tracking, PO/Invoices, and job closure at project completion.

Assess production/technical feasibility, timing and cost of creative deliverables.

Partners closely with Creative teams and manage creative deliverables (copy decks, design comps, etc.).

Deliverable routing (copy, design, assets) through Proofreading, Product, Business Affairs, Digital Asset Management and internal Legal teams. (Account handles client-side deliverable routing.)

Anticipates potential production issues and provides options to help prevent them from becoming challenges. When production challenges do arise, the Producer provides solutions and options to resolve them.

Develops contingency plans when potential risks are identified.

Review and understand media plan requirements; ensure Media and Creative teams are aligned on needs and priorities.

Partner with vendors, ad serving networks and media publishers (as needed) to develop assets for the media buy.

Interface with client-side technical teams when leveraging enterprise data for media purposes.

Maintains constant communication with the PM, Media Planners and Account leads, especially regarding the potential for "scope creep" or timing delays.

Defines/communicates deliverables timing with external vendors.

Partners with internal teams for Multimedia tasks (audio/video edits/CG).

Jira management for Art Studio tasks (asset prep, retouching).

Jira management for QA tasks (as needed).

Work closely with the Ad Ops team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of assets.

Coordinate with the Analytics team to define/implement analytics tags that enable accurate and consistent reporting.

Wrap-up project closure tasks; archive project documentation.

Escalate any critical project or client challenges to the Executive Producer or Director of Production.

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of production experience in advertising or related business is required. Experience with similar client accounts is preferred.

Education: Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Skills and Abilities: The candidate must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and possess strong interpersonal and management skills.
