Join our team and experience why Sunriver Resort was voted Top 100 Businesses to work for in Oregon The Lead Esthetician must possess a thorough knowledge of the skin and waxing, including a basic knowledge of body treatments.  They must possess excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills and be willing to train in our spa’s specific esthetics service offerings.  They must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn and train the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide beauty solutions to meet the needs of our guests.  They must hold and maintain a current state license. They will provide exceptional service to create an extraordinary guest experience, as well as maintain the AAA Four Diamond Standards.

 

The Lead Esthetician will always conduct themselves in a manner which supports the guiding principles of Sunriver Resort: Trust, Open & Honest Communication, and Commitment. The Esthetician shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. They will be responsible for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture as well as promoting Sunriver Resort

Responsibilities:
Be on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.

Provide consistent professional Esthetician treatments in accordance with spa standards/protocols and accepted certification practices.

Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training guests in these areas.

Actively promote home care programs, meeting minimum retail sales goals.

Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures, as well as Oregon Health Authority Requirements.

Perform prep work and properly clean and restock work area as required.

Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.

Receive practical for potential new hires and schedule practice treatments, as needed

Responsible for training and onboarding all new estheticians

Schedule and conduct esthetic trainings for new treatments, sign esthetic team off on new treatments, as well as conduct and schedule continued education trainings.

Responsible for monthly inventory to ensure that all supply demands are met. 

Create appropriate Par levels to ensure the freshest products possible for services.

Adjust schedule changes for the team on SpaSoft, as well as vacation/coverage requests

Attends appropriate resort and departmental meetings

Properly cares for the equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls

Upsell facial enhancements, waxing services, and retail products appropriate for guests needs

 

Qualifications:
Valid Oregon cosmetology license to perform skincare services required

A minimum of 3 years as an esthetician in a spa is required.

High school diploma or equivalent

Prior hospitality or resort experience preferred

At least one year customer service experience required

Must have excellent facial massage techniques, possess excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills and be willing to train in our spa’s specific facial treatment offerings

Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit

Must possess a current and valid CPR card and cosmetology/state license.

Must be able to perform all services related to the cosmetology/state license on our brochure.

Must be able to read, write and speak English

Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
