Job Description:

 

Atlas Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking a Shipper for our facility located in Blytheville AR. Reporting to the Shipper Lead, the Shipper will ensure his/ her role in production is fulfilled with a commitment to the continual improvement in uptime, product quality and overall mill performance.

 

RESPONSIBILITES:

How to operate the overhead crane to plan and load/ unload all material for inbound/ outbound shipments

How to use scanner guns to electronically complete load sheet

How to scan and organize the warehouse in a safe manner during downtime

How to perform daily crane inspections and report any defects

How to maintain area cleanliness

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy

1+ years industrial experience strongly preferred

Proven mechanical aptitude needed for these positions

Ability to work shift work

High school diploma/ GED required

Attention to detail, dependability, professionalism and a great work ethic are required for these positions

Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:   

Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina.

Must be able to remain in a stationary position for several hours

Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role

Ability to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push and pull.

Must be able to lift 60lbs.

Must be able to stand for 10-12 hours

Ability to perform work in a plant/manufacturing environment
