Title Searcher

Duties:
Review title reports and resolve issues related to real estate title.

Retrieve title related documents from plant-based systems such as TitlePoint and the public records for various county offices throughout the state of Tennessee, Alabama and Kentucky.

Work independently, and as part of a team. Position is remote and candidates should have the ability to work remotely. If working remotely, please have a High-Speed Internet Connection to utilize our systems. There may periodically be days throughout the year where you are required to report to the office for meetings, trainings, etc.

Education:
High School Diploma, GED or a Trade School equivalent.

Experience:
Ideal candidates will:
• Have a minimum of 5 years experience as a title abstractor and examiner searching with associated training and sound knowledge of title abstracting, title underwriting/curative, public records searching in the County Recording Offices and must have worked on Commercial/Residential Properties. 
• Have title underwriting experience within the state of Alabama, Kentucky and Tennessee with the ability to review title reports, resolve title related issues and produce a title insurance commitment or policy.
• Have a research ability combined with sound analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Have the ability to learn quickly, be adaptive to change and multi-task in a fast paced environment especially the ability to work in multiple systems and/or states at once.
• Effectively communicate to provide support to internal staff and our customers in relation to our title insurance products (searches, bringdowns, policy typing, underwriting, etc.).
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills
