Status: Full-time (40 hrs/week) - Hybrid with some in-person

 

What You'll Do:

 

The Quality Research Associate is responsible for supporting the continuous quality improvement framework of SummitStone. As a member of the Quality Improvement Department, this Quality Research Associate will support research design activities, assist with data selection and management activities, conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis, assist with report writing and dissemination, and will collaborate with staff, community partners, and key stakeholders. This position will also play a key role in the transition of SummitStone to a become a Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC). CCBHC is a SAMHSA grant-funded program aimed at transforming community behavioral health systems and providing comprehensive, coordinated behavioral health care. This Quality Research Associate will work closely with the CCBHC implementation team to ensure that grant goals, objectives, timelines, deliverable, and reporting requirements are met. An ideal candidate for a Quality Research Associate would have extensive research experience, preferably related to equity work, building resilience, trauma-informed care, and/or workforce well-being. This position may contribute to developing proposals and grants. This is a grant-funded position.

 

Essential Work Duties: 

Completes work with a project management lens, including establishing project timelines and ensuring timelines are met.

Uses knowledge of healthcare evidence, established treatment guidelines and best practices to conduct program evaluation across the organization

Uses knowledge of healthcare evidence, established treatment guidelines and best practices to establish key metrics and measurement standards for departments and programs across the organization

Collaborate with stakeholders on measuring key metrics to tell a more powerful story using data to drive improved decision-making and support organizational growth initiatives.

Communicates with a detailed and thoughtful approach to each audience, both internally among team members and external communication with stakeholders.

Assists in developing evaluation plans, data collection protocols, tools, and methodologies.

Conducts Quantitative data collection using surveys (such as with Qualtrics) and learning management systems.

Maintains positive working relationships with clients, programs, and other key project stakeholders.

Uses a broad array of skills, which may include proficiency in Atlas.ti, NVivo, SPSS, and other statistical analysis/visualization tools, as well as proficiency with data reporting systems such as Powerbi.

Participates in the development and presentation of results to key stakeholders, funders, and other audiences

Contributes to reports, publications, conference presentations, and other dissemination opportunities as a coauthor or co-presenter requiring excellent writing skills and quality presentation abilities.

Communicates with community and interdisciplinary collaborators and act as a spokesperson.

May assist in writing grant proposals.

Participates in the development and presentation of results to key stakeholders, funders, and other audiences as needed.

Participate in Quality Meetings for both Rocky Mountain Health Plans and Signal

In partnership with the Quality Improvement Data Analyst and CQI leadership team, conducts continuous reviews of quality measures and identifies opportunities for clinical, medical, or operational improvements.

Conducts research and analyze trends in processes that impact agency needs and develop recommendations for improvement.

Aides in the design of new procedures/processes to meet departmental needs for measuring and maintaining quality in the operations of all areas.

Knowledge of diversity and inclusion with the relevant ability to engage, communicate, interact, and work effectively and cooperatively with people of different backgrounds, identities, and culturally diverse communities.

 

Required:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business, science, mathematics, public health, research, quality management, healthcare administration, or other related field with a focus on data analysis, research, or equivalent work experience. 

3+ years of applied experience in data analysis and management, process improvement, program evaluation, research, or other related field.

 

Preferred:

Bilingual/Bicultural.

Prior experience with healthcare or behavioral health systems.

Formal training related to monitoring, evaluation, public health, or data analysis.

 

Some positions include driving a company vehicle and require a valid Colorado driver’s license.

Wage Ranges:
The typical hiring range for this position is $26.00- $31.20 per hour, based on relevant years of experience.
