Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing general maintenance of buildings and grounds at HOA residential communities, under direction of the Maintenance Director.

 

Duties include: 

Perform preventative minor maintenance and routine maintenance.

Ensure completion of work orders using work order system.

General maintenance, janitorial and grounds work throughout the Community.

Periodic inspections of grounds, common area buildings and structures.

Assist Vendors

Understanding of Irrigation, Carpentry, Fencing, Cleaning, Gutters, Locks, and Painting

Plus other work related tasks as needed

Qualifications:
Qualifications:

2+ years of maintenance / porter experience preferred.

Must have reliable transportation

Required to pass background, drug screening and reference checks

Must be able to speak, read and write English. Bilingual a plus.

Must be a proficient problem-solver. 

Must know how to use tools, supplies, materials, chemicals in a manner that does not endanger self, other employees, residents, the environment or the public in general. 

Experience and skills with simple electric maintenance is a plus, but not necessary.

Pay and Benefits:

$26.00   to $28.00 hour, depending on education and experience.
