Qualifications:
Highly organized individual with strong written and verbal communication skills
Desire to learn the application of federal and state tax laws and regulations
Exposure to using Microsoft Excel and Word
Attention to detail
Proactive attitude with a team mindset
Responsibilities:
PURPOSE:
The Corporate Tax team is a small core group of professionals who are responsible with complying with tax filing requirements, financial statement disclosures related to tax and tax planning projects for the global business. As an integral part of the team, the Tax Analyst will report to the VP of Tax and work closely with the members of the tax and accounting departments. This position will be primarily responsible for assisting with the sales/use tax compliance function. The position is heavily involved in the preparation of sales/use tax returns, responding to audit requests and assisting with sales tax exemptions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparation of monthly sales and use tax returns
Assist with sales and use tax audit requests
Assist with documentation of sales tax exemptions
Assist with the preparation of federal and state and local income/franchise tax returns
Assist with Federal and State Income Tax Planning Projects
