Mechanical Inspector

Position: Mechanical Inspector  

Location: Stevensville, MD

Duration: 8-12 weeks

Frequency: On-demand / 4 hours 

 

Job Description:

Perform mechanical inspection using precision measuring devices/instruments at the supplier’s facility to verify compliance with drawings, standards/specifications, and other PO requirements

Verify material certifications against PO requirements, part marking where required and visually inspect for obvious defects/ damage

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of precision mechanical inspection experience is required

Strong understanding of, and experience with, ANSI Y 14.5 GD&T

Ability to read and interpret drawings and basic computer skills are a must

Experience working with tight tolerances

Hands-on mechanical inspection experience

Must have experience working with Mil-standards

Previous source inspection experience
