As our new Geologist, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team providing innovative and sustainable site solutions to an international client base.

The successful candidate will contribute to multiple different projects under the direction of senior geologists/engineers and be responsible for duties that include, but are not limited to, the following:

Coordinate and perform field tasks as part of environmental investigation and remediation projects at primarily industrial / hazardous waste sites primarily in Upstate New York and the NYC Metro area. Field tasks may include sampling (soil, groundwater, sediment and/or air); subcontractor oversight (drilling, monitoring well installations, etc.); site reconnaissance, etc.

Work with project coordinators/managers, using interpersonal and organizational skills to ensure projects are completed on time and budget.

Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to complete tasks.

Completion of detailed field documentation such as job safety analysis (JSA) forms, project field forms/reports, field notes, and chain-of-custody forms.

Contribute to preparation of work plans, reports and other documentation; perform analytical data management; and assist in technical evaluations of data commensurate with technical skills.

Individual must be capable of completing field work with limited supervision with opportunities for additional responsibilities through continued growth and experience.

Position will require approximately 80% field work with some overnight travel.
