In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing the comprehensive maintenance and repair operations of crane equipment, ensuring its safe and optimal functioning.

Responsibilities

Foster a collaborative and supportive environment within the crane equipment maintenance team through effective leadership and comprehensive training.

Develop and execute practical maintenance plans, ensuring reliable and high-performance crane equipment.

Coordinate maintenance activities with a keen eye for detail, crafting schedules aligned with downtime requirements and compliance standards.

Proactively identify potential issues in crane equipment through regular inspections, implementing targeted and preemptive maintenance plans.

Oversee maintenance and repair activities, offering expertise in troubleshooting complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.

Streamline the ordering process for spare parts and supplies, ensuring seamless availability during maintenance and repairs.

Maintain organized records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs. Produce user-friendly reports as required.

Manage the maintenance budget judiciously, focusing on effective cost control, vendor management, and strategic procurement activities.

Cultivate a safety-conscious culture within the maintenance team, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Identify opportunities for process enhancement, driving initiatives to continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of crane equipment maintenance processes.

Provide guidance and support to a team of crane maintenance technicians.

Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and contractors for equipment repairs or replacements.

Generate user-friendly reports on maintenance activities, providing insights into costs, downtime, and completed tasks.

Requirements

Experience and Skills: Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience in crane equipment maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.

Technical Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of crane equipment systems, components, and maintenance practices.

Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.

Maintenance Planning and Scheduling: Experience in developing and implementing maintenance strategies, planning and scheduling activities, and managing work orders.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues.

Knowledge of Safety Standards: Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and best practices in crane equipment maintenance.

Budget Management: Experience in budget forecasting, cost control, and vendor management.

Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to work, with a focus on accuracy and precision in documentation and reporting.

Continuous Improvement Mindset: Proactive in seeking opportunities to improve maintenance processes and enhance equipment performance.

Technical Education: Possess a relevant technical degree or certification in crane equipment maintenance or a related field.

Ability to Travel: Willingness to travel as required to oversee maintenance activities at various job sites.
