Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 3 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

• 3 months of Epic experience is required with any experience within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required skills/experience:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience REQUIRED.
• Must have pediatric or neonatal experience. (would need to have at least a small to moderate amount of neonatal experience as we are responsible for very sick newborn babies until the NICU squad arrives to take over care)
• Required Skillset: Critical Care and Emergency

Shift & schedule requirements:

• Weekends: Every 3rd weekend
• Holiday: Holiday rotation includes Thanksgiving (25th and 26th) and New Years Eve

Floating requirements:

• ThedaCare Neenah or any other ThedaCare facilities as needed.

9 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
