Merit Health River Region is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our established Emergency Department team. This opportunity offers the chance to practice in a well-supported, high-volume emergency setting with strong specialty backup and a collaborative clinical environment. * Annual ED volume: ~32,000 visits
* Level IV Trauma Center
* 14-bed Emergency Department with 4-bed Fast Track
* 24-hour physician coverage daily
* 10 hours of NP/PA coverage daily
* Strong specialty backup support
* EMR system: Cerner Qualifications
*
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
* Current Mississippi medical license or eligibility for licensure
* Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency department environment
