About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial, state, and federal construction projects ranging from $100K to $7M . This is an opportunity to join a small, independent team with significant room for long-term growth. Responsibilities
* Manage 1-3 projects from preconstruction through closeout
* Develop schedules, budgets, forecasts, and 3-week lookaheads
* Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams
* Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract documentation
* Lead subcontractor buyout, scope review, and negotiations
* Conduct site visits and project meetings
* Monitor project progress, quality, costs, and compliance
* Identify risks and resolve issues to keep projects on schedule and budget
* Oversee project closeout, punch lists, and turnover Qualifications
* 3+ years of construction management experience
* Degree or equivalent hands-on construction experience
* Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and vendors
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering is a plus Project Details
* Commercial, state, and federal projects
* Project values: $100K-$7M
* Project duration: 6 months-2 years
* Mix of ground-up construction and renovations
* Approximately 3 days in office / 2 days on site , depending on project stage
* Occasional travel throughout New York State and the Northeast Benefits & Perks
