San Carlos, CA/ Palo Alto, CA Position: Wok Cook / Line Cook Employment Type: Full-Time We are looking for an experienced Chinese Wok Cook with at least 2 years of professional wok-cooking experience to join our restaurant team.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook Chinese and Asian-style dishes using a commercial wok. Prepare stir-fry dishes, noodles, fried rice, vegetables, meat, and other menu items. Follow recipes, portions, and food-quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized cooking station. Work efficiently during busy restaurant hours. Follow food safety and sanitation procedures. Work closely with the kitchen team.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of professional wok-cooking experience required. Chinese or Asian restaurant experience strongly preferred. Strong commercial wok skills and ability to work in a high-volume kitchen. Ability to follow recipes and prepare food consistently.
Reliable, responsible, and punctual. Good teamwork and communication skills. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen sanitation Excellent attention to detail, especially in food presentation and garnishing
