Job Summary: NCS Engineers, LLC (NCS) is hiring a Electrical Engineering Intern for our Water/Wastewater department at the NCS Phoenix Corporate Office. The candidate will work on water/wastewater projects and learn and perform routine electrical engineering tasks under the direct supervision of a senior engineer with the goal of developing entry-level engineering skills. Qualifications and Education
Requirements:
- Junior or Senior in an Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s degree program.
- No experience required. Qualifications/Skills
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including detailed report preparation.
- Excellent computer, math, and English skills.
- Ability to drive to work. Preferred Education and
Experience:
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge ETAP, SKM Power Tools, or Easy Power.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Supervisory
Responsibilities:
- None. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provides general support to the engineering department as defined by supervisor.
- Identifies potential areas of product improvement; recommends and assists with the development of appropriate solutions.
- Assists one or more senior electrical engineers on projects.
- Performs other related duties as assigned. Physical
Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift, up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to travel to various job sites and traverse locations to obtain necessary data.
