About the Role
Ulta Beauty is seeking an enthusiastic Seasonal Retail Associate in Chicago, IL (in partnership with Skills for Chicago). In this high-energy seasonal role, you will create a welcoming shopping environment, assist holiday shoppers with beauty recommendations, support store sales goals, and ensure smooth checkout and replenishment operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Greet guests warmly and assist shoppers with finding cosmetics, skincare, and fragrance products.
• Operate point-of-sale registers efficiently, processing sales, returns, and digital orders.
• Assist with seasonal stock replenishment, freight unloading, merchandise displays, and shelf facing.
• Promote Ulta Beauty guest loyalty programs, promotional offers, and omnichannel services.
• Work collaboratively with store teammates to maintain an organized and sanitary sales floor. Required Skills &
Qualifications:
• 1+ year of customer service, retail, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Comfort operating POS systems, handheld inventory scanners, and mobile devices.
• Strong interpersonal communication, active listening, and teamwork abilities.
• Availability to work a flexible seasonal schedule including evenings, weekends, and peak holiday shifts.
• Program eligibility: Must reside in Illinois or Indiana and be authorized to work in the United States.
