Join our dynamic team as a Data Analyst specializing in US Driver’s License data, with OPT/STEM OPT authorization accepted. Duties
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize US Driver’s License data and related metrics.
- Collaborate within Agile project management frameworks to deliver timely analytics solutions aligned with business needs.
- Design, implement, and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Talend, Python, Bash (Unix shell), and SQL to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Conduct comprehensive business analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities within driver license datasets.
- Manage database design and maintenance for Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and linked data sources to support scalable analytics initiatives.
- Support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by participating in requirements gathering, testing, deployment, and documentation of analytics tools.
- Utilize R and VBA for advanced statistical analysis and automation of routine reporting tasks.
- Assist in database management activities including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using Talend or similar tools.
- Create detailed process diagrams using Visio to document workflows and system architecture for data projects.
- Engage in project management activities to prioritize tasks, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of analytics solutions. Requirements
- Valid US Driver’s License required; candidates with OPT/STEM OPT authorization are encouraged to apply.
- Proven experience with Tableau, Power BI, Looker or similar visualization tools for creating compelling dashboards.
- Strong knowledge of SQL programming with experience in Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle databases.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices for efficient workflow execution.
- Hands-on experience with SDLC processes including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation tasks; experience with R is a plus.
- Expertise in ETL tools such as Talend or equivalent platforms; knowledge of Bash scripting (Unix shell) is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of database design principles and linked data concepts for effective data integration.
- Ability to perform detailed business analysis using analysis skills to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience working with VBA macros for automation within Excel or other Office applications.
- Knowledge of Visio for process mapping; familiarity with analysis tools like Analysis Skills is beneficial.
