Position Overview
Assist in feeding communities by performing inventory control duties in a warehouse setting.
Responsibilities include counting and verifying products using handheld devices or forms, handling obsolete inventory, and ensuring SOP compliance.
Support high-quality product delivery and maintain a safe, efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct accurate cycle counts and update system records.
- Research and resolve inventory variances.
- Validate product dating and update records accordingly.
- Audit inbound receiving paperwork and SOP compliance.
- Respond to item check requests from buyers.
- Coordinate handling of obsolete, at-risk, or recalled inventory.
- Assist in work allocation and monitor activity for efficiency.
- Operate inventory control systems and generate reports.
- Perform physical counts in cold environments, walking several miles daily.
- Work as a team with minimal supervision, communicating effectively. Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift (up to 60 lbs), and work safely in cold and varied environments.
- Good communication skills and teamwork mindset.
- Physical ability to walk, lift, and handle products on multiple levels. Benefits & Environment
