Groundskeeper

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Groundskeeper and Ranch Hand to join our team. We are a veteran-owned and operated company and strongly encourage veterans to apply. Candidates with hands-on military or civilian experience in landscaping, equipment operation, CDL driving, forklift operation, carpentry, plumbing, construction, maintenance, logistics, or other skilled trades are especially encouraged to apply. Relevant experience is valued, and certifications are not necessarily required. The ideal candidate will help maintain the appearance, safety, and functionality of both indoor and outdoor areas of a private ranch and business property. This role involves landscaping, lawn care, groundskeeping, equipment operation, vehicle upkeep, seasonal maintenance, and general property support. We are looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, adaptable, and willing to learn. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and well-kept property. Responsibilities
- Perform regular landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, edging, and general lawn care.
- Plant, water, and maintain flower beds, shrubs, trees, and other landscaping.
- Irrigate grounds as needed to support healthy plant growth.
- Clear debris from walkways, parking areas, driveways, and other outdoor spaces.
- Perform snow removal and other seasonal property maintenance.
- Safely operate hand tools and power tools for landscaping, maintenance, and property projects.
- Operate tractors, skid loaders, forklifts, mowers, utility vehicles, and other equipment as needed.
- Maintain groundskeeping equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Maintain vehicles on the property, including keeping them clean, fueled, organized, and ready for use.
- Assist with general property maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects.
- Maintain clean and organized indoor and outdoor work areas.
- Assist with additional ranch and operational needs as they arise. Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with landscaping, lawn care, groundskeeping, or general property maintenance.
- Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools.
- Prior experience operating tractors, skid loaders, forklifts, or similar farm or heavy equipment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean and visually appealing spaces.
- Mechanically inclined with a willingness to perform basic maintenance and repairs.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to safely lift 100 lbs or more.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable, flexible, and willing to learn.
- Military experience involving maintenance, landscaping, construction, logistics, transportation, engineering, or equipment operation is highly valued.
