Job Summary: Garrett Popcorn Shops is looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Shift Lead II to support daily shop operations and inspire team excellence. As a Shift Lead II, you will be responsible for overseeing shop activity during your shift, ensuring our team delivers exceptional fans experiences while maintaining Garrett’s product and service standards. The Shift Lead II role is our primary leadership development position and serves as the training ground for future Assistant Managers and Shop Managers. Team members in this role take on advanced operational, people leadership, and business responsibilities while preparing for promotion opportunities. As a Shift Lead II, you may be required to work at different locations. Our ideal candidate is a team player and can deliver consistency in performance no matter what Shop location you are scheduled at.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and motivate team members to consistently deliver outstanding customer service.
- Open or close the shop according to company procedures and standards.
- Supervise daily operations including cashiering, cooking, packaging, stocking, and cleaning.
- Monitor product quality and freshness to ensure Garrett’s high standards are met.
- Train, coach, and support new and existing team members and Shift Lead 1s.
- Handle fan inquiries and resolve concerns in a friendly, professional manner.
- Maintain compliance with food safety, cleanliness, and operational policies.
- Perform cash handling duties, including reconciling drawers and safe counts.
- Communicate effectively with shop leadership to report issues, successes, and team needs.
- Assist with inventory management and place orders for supplies and ingredients as needed.
- Foster a positive, energetic, and team-focused shop environment.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- ServSafe Manager Sanitation Certification required.
- 1+ year of experience in a retail or food service environment, with leadership responsibilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead by example and provide hands-on support.
- Reliable, punctual, and available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Positive attitude and commitment to Garrett’s core values and fan experience.
