Responsibilities:
- Perform daily inspection of highway and bridge construction activities
- Verify contractor work complies with NYSDOT plans, specifications, and standards
- Prepare daily inspection reports, measurements, and quantity records
- Monitor materials, workmanship, MPT/traffic control, and site safety
- Coordinate with the Resident Engineer, contractor, and project staff
Qualifications:
- NICET Level II or III preferred
- Prior NYSDOT construction inspection experience strongly preferred
- Highway, bridge, paving, drainage, or roadway construction experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel between project sites within Sullivan County Compensation: $50–$62/hour, based on experience, qualifications, and NICET level. Full-time opportunities with benefits available.
