Togo/ Host

Host/Host Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their assigned tables or waiting areas
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials
- Assist with seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space
- Manage reservations and waitlist, ensuring accurate and timely seating
- Answer phone calls and provide information to callers in a professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with patience and professionalism

Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting
- Familiarity with POS systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food service and guest relations principles
