- Intimate familiarity with GE heavy frame turbines (Frame 3, 5, 6B, 7B, 7EA, etc. )
- looking for up to 5 Mechanical individuals for present and upcoming projects with our company to be part of a pool of qualified individuals to be on retainer for callouts / mobilizations to (Iraq) and some USA domestic gas turbine / rotating equipment field service work. The pay for abroad work is between $720.00 per day / 8 to 12 hr. day to $1,050.00 per day DOE. Project / job durations abroad vary from 1 month to 6 months depending on project work schedules. QTS and clients provides all life support and security while in (work site plant compound housing) Field Service positions can live anywhere in the USA or abroad. This is a traveling job where you will travel to customer sites to perform your job duties.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- FUNCTIONS:
- Disassemble, inspect, and assemble compressors, turbines, gearboxes, expanders and other rotating equipment
- Dismantle / Assemble machines
- Possess a sufficient quantity of professional hand tools to adequately perform daily assignments
- Take direction from Supervisors and work well with other mechanics
- Be ready to travel / mobilize to job site when called
- Conduct yourself accordingly. No unruly behavior horseplay or unsafe conduct on Customer job site.
- Proactively engage and support company initiatives and progress.
- Comply with all company requirements.
- Use PPE as identified in risk assessments or other related safety documents.
