- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate drink and food orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards
- Process cash and card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales and cash handling
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue
- Maintain cleanliness of bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment, following sanitation guidelines
- Assist with food service duties such as bussing tables and supporting kitchen staff when needed
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations during busy hours with excellent time management skills
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Build rapport with guests to foster guest relations and encourage repeat visits Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or beverage industry preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, cocktail recipes, and beverage service techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and process sales efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, tips, and change accurately
- Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is advantageous
