- Food Storefront Associate Ideal for: Mother's Hours from 10:45 am
- 2 or 2:30 After School Job from 2 or 2:30
- 6 pm Saturdays from 11 am
- 4 pm We are seeking a responsible & friendly Food Storefront Associate to join our team.
Key responsibilities
include:
- Ringing Customer Orders: Operate the point of sale machine for transactions and handle cash accurately. Enter orders and ensure accurate pricing
- Opening/Closing: Assist with daily store opening and closing duties, including locking up and ensuring all equipment is turned off
- Social Media Assistance: Help create and post content on social media to engage with customers and promote the store
- Light Food Prep: Prepare simple food items and assist with light baking tasks. Support the kitchen team with basic prep duties such as chopping, measuring, and assembling ingredients. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines and earn food handler card within 30 days of hire.
- General Cleaning & Upkeep: Maintain a clean and organized store, including vacuuming, sweeping, wiping surfaces, and other general cleaning tasks
- Inventory & Merchandising: Perform daily inventory checks, restock shelves, and ensure that store labels are current and accurate.
- Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills: Greet customers, assist with product inquiries, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere. Maintain knowledge of current promotion, discounts, and specials
- Basic Computer
