• Monitor facility entrances and exits to control access.
• Verify identification and maintain visitor logs.
• Conduct routine patrols of buildings, parking areas, and grounds.
• Monitor security cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems.
• Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and suspicious activities.
• Complete incident reports and daily activity logs.
• Enforce company security policies and procedures.
• Assist with investigations involving theft, property damage, or policy violations.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized activity. Qualifications
• Valid California Guard Card required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one (1) year of security experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations.
• Basic computer skills and ability to prepare reports. Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to work flexible schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed. Working Conditions Manufacturing environment with exposure to production equipment, forklift traffic, and employee/vendor activity. The Security Guard must consistently maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with all company safety and security standards.
