Role Description The Frontend Developer will design, build, and maintain user-facing features for CasAI’s gene editing simulation application, translating complex scientific workflows into clear, interactive interfaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing responsive UI components, integrating frontend code with backend APIs, optimizing performance, and ensuring accessibility and usability across devices. The role involves collaborating with designers, backend engineers, and subject matter experts to refine requirements, participate in code reviews, and contribute to the overall product architecture. The developer will also help identify and resolve technical issues, improve development practices, and support continuous product enhancements. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development skills, including modern JavaScript (e.g., ES6+), HTML, and CSS.
• Candidates should possess experience in Responsive Web Design and building intuitive, user-centered web interfaces.
• Candidates should possess skills in Web Development and Software Development, with familiarity in frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or similar).
• Candidates should possess foundational understanding of Back-End Web Development concepts and integrating with RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to work on-site in Livermore, CA, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills, with attention to detail and code quality.
