Contract Job Summary We are seeking an experienced MFT (Managed File Transfer) Developer to design, develop, implement, and support secure file transfer solutions for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with MFT platforms, file transfer protocols, automation, and production support in a financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, configure, and maintain secure Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions.
• Develop and support automated file transfer workflows and integrations.
• Work with MFT platforms such as IBM Sterling File Gateway, IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, Axway, or similar tools.
• Configure and troubleshoot SFTP, FTP/FTPS, PGP encryption, and secure file exchange processes.
• Monitor file transfer jobs, investigate failures, and resolve production issues.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and business teams.
• Implement file transfer scheduling, automation, logging, and alerting.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and data protection requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation and support release management activities. Required Skills
• Strong experience with Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions.
• Hands-on experience with IBM Sterling or Axway MFT tools.
• Knowledge of SFTP, FTP/FTPS, SSH, PGP encryption, and digital certificates.
• Experience with scripting using Shell, Unix/Linux, or Python.
• Understanding of batch processing, scheduling, and file transfer automation.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support skills.
• Experience working with enterprise applications and secure data integrations. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in banking, financial services, or insurance.
• Familiarity with enterprise security standards and audit requirements.
• Experience with Control-M or other job scheduling tools.
• Knowledge of APIs, data integration, and enterprise middleware. Work Location Detroit, MI or Charlotte, NC.
