• Drive architecture across frontend, backend, infrastructure, AI services, and shared platform components.
• Design systems that remain maintainable as our product and engineering team scale.
• Balance pragmatic delivery with long-term technical sustainability.
• Lead technical design reviews and architectural decision making. Engineering Excellence
• Establish coding standards and engineering best practices.
• Improve consistency across services, APIs, and shared libraries.
• Raise the overall quality of the codebase through thoughtful reviews and mentorship.
• Improve observability, testing, performance, reliability, and developer experience. Technical Leadership
• Mentor engineers through architecture discussions, design reviews, and pair programming.
• Help engineers grow into stronger software architects.
• Guide implementation without becoming a bottleneck.
• Foster a culture of ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement. Platform Development You'll help shape systems including:

• Internal platform tooling What We're Looking For Required
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience leading technical architecture across complex software platforms.
• Strong backend engineering experience with Python and modern API design.
• Experience building scalable cloud-native systems on AWS.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, databases, asynchronous processing, and system reliability.
• Experience designing maintainable APIs and shared platform services.
• Ability to simplify complex technical problems.
• Excellent communication skills with both engineers and business stakeholders.
• A passion for mentoring other engineers. Nice to Have Experience with:
• AI platforms and agent-based systems
• Financial software or accounting platforms
• Multi-tenant SaaS architecture
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• PostgreSQL

• Base salary of $200,000–$350,000
