Position Overview WWT is seeking an experienced Enterprise Networking Director to provide strategic leadership for the design, engineering, operations, security, and lifecycle management of enterprise network infrastructure. This role will lead a team of network architects, engineers, and operations professionals responsible for delivering highly available, scalable, secure, and modern networking solutions across data centers, cloud platforms, branch locations, and remote workforce environments. The ideal candidate combines deep technical networking expertise with proven leadership experience and a track record of driving large-scale infrastructure transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
• Develop and execute enterprise networking strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Establish network standards, policies, architecture frameworks, and operational procedures.
• Drive modernization initiatives including cloud networking, SD-WAN, automation, and Zero Trust architectures.
• Present technology roadmaps and investment recommendations to executive leadership.
• Lead vendor evaluation, selection, and contract negotiations. Network Architecture & Engineering
• Oversee the design and implementation of:
• Enterprise LAN/WAN environments
• Data center networking
• Cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Internet connectivity solutions
• SD-WAN environments
• Wireless infrastructure
• Network security integrations
• Ensure scalability, resiliency, performance, and security requirements are consistently met.
• Review and approve solution designs and enterprise architecture standards. Operations & Service Delivery
• Lead network operations teams responsible for 24x7 support.
• Ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Establish monitoring, incident response, change management, and problem management processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability and operational excellence.
• Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Security & Risk Management
• Partner with Information Security teams to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
• Support implementation of:
• Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA)
• Network Access Control (NAC)
• Network segmentation strategies
• Secure remote access solutions
• DDoS mitigation technologies
• Maintain and regularly audit network security controls. Leadership & Team Development
• Lead, mentor, and develop network engineering, architecture, and operations teams.
• Establish department goals, performance metrics, and employee development plans.
• Build succession planning strategies and leadership pipelines.
• Foster collaboration between infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams.
• Manage staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation. Financial Management
• Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets.
• Evaluate technology investments and optimize vendor relationships.
• Oversee hardware refresh and technology lifecycle programs.
• Drive cost optimization through automation and modernization. Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of enterprise networking experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing engineering and/or operations teams.
• Deep expertise in:
• Enterprise routing and switching
• Data center networking
• WAN technologies
• Cloud networking
• Network security
• High-availability architectures
• Experience supporting large-scale, multi-site enterprise networks.
• Strong knowledge of IT governance, change management, and ITIL practices.
• Proven success leading enterprise infrastructure transformation initiatives. Preferred Qualifications
• Master's degree in a related discipline.
• CCNP Enterprise, CCIE, or equivalent certification.
• AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud certifications.
