MatchaCFO is a fractional AI-enabled COO, CFO, accounting, and data services firm based in Silicon Valley, CA. We deliver modern full-stack finance and business operations services, including FP&A and data pipeline build-out, to US-based digital tech startups (from Pre-Seed to Series C) and are trusted advisors to their founders. We leverage the latest technology and streamlined processes to deliver our services.
We are seeking dedicated, positive, self-driven team members who are passionate about financial numbers, strive for efficient processes, take ownership, can problem-solve effectively, and possess a client-service mentality. Like our clients, we operate at 'Silicon Valley AI speed,' and you must perform well in that environment. You must also contribute to our supportive and inclusive team culture.
Your professional relationship with us will be in a remote contracting role, and might interest experienced tech startup CPAs looking for the flexibility a full-time position doesn't offer. Depending on your preference, this role offers adjustable hours, ranging from 20 to 40+ hours per week, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact with fast-growing, US-based tech startups. We'd love to hear from you if you value flexibility and want to contribute to tech startups driving innovation, while gaining new experiences.
We are a small team with big ambitions, so you can become part of the key team that enables Matcha's scalability and growth. Our team is international and remote, which won't change.
To avoid doubt, we refer to digital tech startups as primarily software-based startups or those for which software is a key enabler. These startups often use business models such as AI, software-as-a-service (SaaS), mobile applications, and online platforms. We exclude startups that develop and sell primarily physical tech products. Please do not apply unless you have this kind of recent experience.
You must have a high-performance IT setup with at least the following specs:
Computer: Mac purchased within the last 12-18 months, with at least 16GB RAM and SSD storage, and the Chrome browser. An equivalent Windows machine is acceptable. Your machine must be able to effortlessly handle 100+ open browser tabs and apps without slowing down.
Internet: A reliable broadband connection with sustained minimum download speeds of 100 Mbps and minimum upload speeds of 25 Mbps, measured at your computer by www.speedtest.net. Your connection must support uninterrupted high-quality Zoom calls and cloud-based work.
External Display: At least one external 27" or larger monitor with 1080p or higher resolution. Two external displays are strongly recommended.
