Building Services of America (BSA) is seeking an experienced sales professional with a proven track record of selling to multifamily property managers and building owners throughout Chicago and the suburbs.
You will develop new business for BSA’s janitorial, maintenance, engineering, door staff/ concierge, and apartment turnover services. We’re looking for someone who understands property operations, builds strong relationships, and consistently turns opportunities into signed contracts.
What You’ll Do
• Prospect through cold calling, email outreach, networking, referrals, and property visits.
• Build relationships with property managers, management companies, building owners, and asset managers.
• Conduct property walkthroughs and work with operations to develop pricing and proposals.
• Present proposals, follow up with decision-makers, and close new service contracts.
• Expand client relationships across additional properties and portfolios.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide weekly progress reports. What We’re Looking For
• Demonstrated success selling to the multifamily property management industry, minimum 3 years experience
• Knowledge of the Chicago and suburban market; established industry relationships preferred.
• Strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with operations.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle. Compensation and Benefits
• $72,000–$85,000 annual base salary, based on experience, paid weekly.
• Commission, paid monthly
• Vehicle Stipend
• Cell phone reimbursement
• Company-provided computer.

• Company-paid life and disability coverage upon eligibility. Schedule and Expectations This is a full-time position with an expected schedule of 40 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends for client meetings and industry events. Office attendance includes the Chicago office at 827 N. Milwaukee Avenue daily and the Woodridge corporate office once per week. Preferred3 years:Experience selling janitorial, maintenance, engineering, concierge/door staff, or apartment turnover services.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Lead Generation skills, including prospecting, cold calling, and developing new business opportunities.
• Candidates should possess effective Account Management and Customer Service skills to oversee client contracts, resolve issues, and support long-term satisfaction.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, for client presentations, proposals, and internal collaboration.
• Candidates should possess Relationship Building skills to establish trust with property managers, owners, and other stakeholders.
• Prior B2B sales experience in facilities management, building services, or related industries is highly beneficial.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and manage a structured sales process.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with proficiency in CRM tools and basic office software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
