S. distributor of ACME fiber laser cutting systems, covering Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina. We're growing fast and looking for a Sales Engineer to join our team.
What you'll do
• Sell plate, tube and beam laser cutting machines to structural steel fabricators, OEMs and job shops
• Understand customer parts and drawings, and recommend the right machine and configuration
• Run machine demos and sample cutting tests in our Columbus showroom
• Prepare quotes and technical proposals, and follow deals through to installation
• Manage leads, follow-ups and the sales pipeline in HubSpot CRM
• Support CLLE's social media and marketing, including LinkedIn posts, customer stories and trade show promotion
• Visit customers across our six-state territory and attend trade shows Required
• Strong computer skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficient with HubSpot or similar CRM software
• Hands-on experience with social media and marketing
• Self-driven and results-oriented. You set goals, follow up without being chased, and measure yourself by deals closed. Preferred
• Background in industrial equipment, metal fabrication, CNC or machine tool sales
• Comfortable reading drawings and discussing cutting, tubing and steel profiles with both shop floor staff and owners
• Willing to travel in the Southeast
• Laser cutting experience is a plus, but we'll train the right person Why CLLE
