Role Description The Junior Construction Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Santa Fe Springs, CA. This role supports senior project managers in coordinating day-to-day construction activities, including assisting with project planning, scheduling, and tracking progress against milestones. The Junior Construction Project Manager helps manage documentation, prepares reports, and communicates with site supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure work is completed according to specifications and timelines. Responsibilities include monitoring budgets and cost reports, supporting change order preparation, and helping to resolve issues that arise during construction. The role also involves participating in site meetings, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and contributing to continuous improvement of project management processes. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess skills in Project Coordination and Project Management to support planning, scheduling, and communication across multiple stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess skills in Construction Project Management and Construction Management to assist with on-site activities, documentation, and adherence to project specifications.
• Candidates should possess skills in Budgeting to help monitor project costs, track expenditures, and support financial reporting.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with project teams, subcontractors, and clients.
• Basic proficiency with project management and office software (e.g., MS Office, scheduling tools); familiarity with construction management software is a plus.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Knowledge of construction safety practices and willingness to follow all safety guidelines and site protocols.
• Ability to work on-site in Santa Fe Springs, CA, including visiting project locations as needed.
