* Candidates must have completed an actual SAP B1 on-premises-to-Azure migration, not just supported SAP applications or Azure infrastructure separately.
* Relevant SAP B1 infrastructure roles typically combine SAP B1 administration, SQL Server or HANA, Windows/Linux infrastructure, networking and cloud migration skills.
Job Description
* We are seeking an experienced SAP Business One (SAP B1) Technical Consultant with strong Microsoft Azure infrastructure expertise to assess and migrate an existing on-premises SAP Business One environment to Microsoft Azure.
* The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP B1 infrastructure, database administration, cloud migration planning, Azure virtual machines, networking, security, backup and disaster recovery.
* The consultant will assess the current environment, recommend the appropriate migration approach, and lead the technical migration with minimal business disruption. Required Qualifications &
Skills:
* Proven hands-on experience administering and supporting SAP Business One environments.
* Demonstrated experience migrating SAP B1 from on-premises infrastructure to Microsoft Azure.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, access controls and monitoring.
* Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or SAP HANA databases used by SAP Business One.
* Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration, remote access, networking, DNS, firewalls and security.
* Experience with database backup, recovery, restoration, migration and performance troubleshooting.
* Understanding of SAP B1 application architecture, services, client connectivity, licensing and add-ons.
* Experience planning and executing production migrations with minimal downtime.
* Knowledge of Azure Backup, disaster recovery, monitoring and business continuity practices.
* Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
