Enrollment Management Communication
Job Description
Enrollment Marketing & Communications is seeking an experienced graphic designer to create compelling visual work that engages prospective students and supports the University of Missouri’s enrollment goals. This position will develop creative for integrated campaigns across print and digital channels, helping strengthen how students and families experience the Mizzou brand throughout the recruitment process. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated designer who brings strong creative judgment, manages projects effectively and works well within a collaborative team. This is an on-campus, in-person position.
Key Responsibilities
• Creative Development and Production Develop original design concepts and produce creative materials for recruitment and enrollment initiatives. Projects may include print publications, direct mail, digital advertising, email graphics, social media content, signage, presentations and other marketing materials.
• Project Execution and Creative Refinement Translate project goals, audience needs and creative direction into effective visual communications. Manage assigned projects from initial concept through revisions, production and final delivery, incorporating feedback while maintaining the strength and purpose of the design.
• Team and Campus Collaboration Partner with EMC team and other department stakeholders to develop cohesive campaign materials. Contribute ideas during creative planning, follow established workflows and communicate clearly throughout each project.
• Brand Stewardship and Quality Assurance Apply university brand standards consistently while identifying opportunities to make enrollment communications distinctive and engaging. Review work carefully for visual quality, accuracy, consistency, accessibility and alignment with project objectives. Prepare files according to the technical requirements of each channel or vendor.
• Creative Growth and Innovation Stay informed about emerging design practices, creative technologies and trends across higher education, consumer marketing and digital media. Explore new tools, formats and approaches that can improve creative quality, strengthen collaboration and keep the team’s work fresh and relevant. Shift 40 hours/week, some evening and weekend responsibilities may be required Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications Prior graphic design experience is preferred Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary:
$$54,000-$58,000 per year. Grade GGS
