At Butler-Cohen, Senior Project Managers do more than manage projects. They lead portfolios, develop teams, build lasting client relationships, and drive the successful execution of some of the most complex commercial construction projects in Texas. We're seeking an experienced construction leader who can oversee multiple projects simultaneously while mentoring Project Managers and ensuring operational, financial, and contractual success across their portfolio.

What You'll Do
• Lead a portfolio of projects totaling $50M-$100M+ annually, or oversee a single large-scale, highly complex project.
• Develop, mentor, and supervise Project Managers, Superintendents, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers.
• Drive project financial performance, forecasting, cash flow, contingency management, and margin protection.
• Manage project risk, contract administration, claims, change management, and subcontractor performance.
• Partner with Preconstruction to support estimating, buyout strategy, constructability reviews, and successful project handoffs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
• Lead project recovery efforts, staffing strategies, and resource planning across multiple teams.
• Support business development activities, client pursuits, interviews, and proposal presentations. What We're Looking For
• Proven experience managing complex commercial construction projects and multiple project teams.
• Strong leadership and people development skills with a passion for mentoring future leaders.
• Advanced understanding of project financials, forecasting, contracts, risk management, and scheduling.
• Experience with CPM scheduling, cost control, change management, and contract administration.
• Ability to proactively identify and mitigate project and business risks.
• Strong communication, client management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with delivery methods including Design-Build, CM at Risk, Lump Sum, and GMP projects. Why Butler-Cohen?
